The department shall develop and  implement a pilot program for gender-responsive and trauma-informed  outpatient substance abuse treatment at the Washington Corrections Center for Women.

The pilot program willl be designed to address the unique risks and needs among women that lead to addiction and criminal behavior.The pilot program will be strengths-based and healing- centered and will incorporate the concepts further outlined.

The department shall report the findings of this pilot program by December 2021.
