SB 5156: Making expenditures from the budget stabilization account to address issues of homelessness, home security, and economic impacts of the COVID-19 pandemic on small businesses

SB5156 adds additional relief ($200m) from the budget and stabilization account for rental, small business, and nonprofit assistance, to prevent future evictions and business closures due to the challenges of COVID-19. 
The proposed additional funding will supplement funding already allocated through the federal Coronavirus Aid, Relief, and Economic Security Act as the pandemic endures.
