This bill aims to preserve and promote family unity by amending the Immigration and Nationality Act to help U.S. citizens reunite with their loved ones. This bill would allow families to stay toether while undocumented spouses or parents living in the U.S. go through the immigration system. The bill would provide the Attorney General and the Department of Homeland Security Secretary to allow certain individuals to be reunited in the United States if continued separation will cause hardship for their spouse or children that are permanently residing in the U.S.
