This bill will allow workers in businesses with 15 or more employees to earn up to seven job-protected paid sick days each year for their own illness, preventative care, providing for a sick family members, or attending meetings related to the health of their child(ren). Workers at businesses with less than 15 employees will earn up to seven job-protected unpaid sick days per year. Workers who are experiencing domestic violence, stalking, or sexual assault can use their sick days to recover or seek related assistance.
