Kristen joined the Strive Team in the summer of 2019. She grew up in Oregon and knew very early that all children deserve a supportive family like hers. Kristen kept growing up at Oregon Social Learning Center, learning about the development and testing of preventive interventions for families. In 1999, she joined Dr. Phil Fisher’s Stress Neurobiology and Prevention Lab at University of Oregon to put that experience into action, implementing research in treatment foster care, parent training, and video coaching intervention for young children and their caregivers. In working with Strive, her goal is to continue working to make the world a better place for children and everyone who supports them as they grow.
