Partners for Our Children (POC) at the University of Washington School of Social Work has an outstanding opportunity for a Director of Technology and Applications Development. This position will be responsible for defining and building Information Technology strategies and products in support of POC's primary mission—to help child welfare and other related social service sectors achieve significant improvements in programmatic, clinical, and well-being outcomes for vulnerable populations.
POC understands that many social service providers face financial, technical, and political obstacles to efficiently manage and coordinate client services. POC aims to solve this problem through technology, which, in addition to enabling collaborative case and service management, would further enable organizations, such as social service providers, social service networks, and researchers, to evaluate and improve services and outcomes. In order to accomplish this objective, POC also understands a solution(s) must be created and assembled that enable the collection, management, and querying of large amounts of data across hundreds of individual organizations and tens of thousands of unique clients.
